About this tour
The Golden Triangle connects India's three most famous heritage cities by fast expressways: Delhi, the capital of empires; Agra, home of the Taj Mahal; and Jaipur, the royal Pink City of Rajasthan. We time the Taj Mahal for sunrise — the light is softest and the crowds smallest — and break the Agra–Jaipur drive at Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar's abandoned red-sandstone capital.

Day1
Arrive in Delhi — Old & New Delhi sightseeing
Pickup from the airport/railway station. Explore Old Delhi: Jama Masjid, a cycle-rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk and Raj Ghat. In New Delhi see India Gate, the Rashtrapati Bhavan avenue, Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar.

Day2
Delhi → Agra · Agra Fort & Baby Taj
Drive to Agra on the Yamuna Expressway (about 3.5 hours). Visit Agra Fort, the delicate Itimad-ud-Daulah ("Baby Taj") and end the day at Mehtab Bagh for a sunset view of the Taj across the river.

Day3
Taj Mahal at sunrise → Fatehpur Sikri → Jaipur
An early start for the Taj Mahal at sunrise, then breakfast at the hotel. Drive towards Jaipur, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri — Buland Darwaza, Jodha Bai Palace and the Salim Chishti dargah. Reach Jaipur by evening.

Jaipur — forts, palaces and bazaars
Amer Fort and its Sheesh Mahal, a photo stop at Jal Mahal, then the City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. Free evening for the Johari and Bapu bazaars, or a Rajasthani dinner at Chokhi Dhani.

Jaipur → Delhi · Departure
Drive back to Delhi (about 5 hours) and drop at your hotel, the airport or the railway station.
