Frequently asked questions
Ayodhya is one of the holiest cities in India and is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Ram. It holds immense spiritual significance in Hinduism and attracts devotees seeking peace, devotion, and spiritual connection.
Ayodhya is ideal for all age groups. The city offers a calm, devotional atmosphere with well-developed ghats, temples, and walkways, making it especially comfortable for families and senior citizens.
An Ayodhya tour is more spiritual than commercial. Visitors can expect temple darshan, peaceful riverfront walks along the Sarayu River, evening aartis, and moments of reflection rather than fast-paced sightseeing.
A minimum of one full day is recommended, but a 2-day stay allows travelers to experience early morning temple visits, evening aarti, and nearby sacred sites without rushing.
Visitors are advised to dress modestly, maintain silence in temple areas, respect local customs, and follow darshan guidelines. Photography may be restricted in certain sacred areas.
